Education is a never-ending process in life. Education goes on not only in the classroom. We must continue to educate practising professional and the general public. Educational opportunities has a long traditional tune in sociological inequality research and many sociologists have argued that education is a key variable when researching stratification in the society today. Over the last decades, modern societies have evolved into knowledge based economies in which the role of education and organisation of educational institutions have become important in all phases of the course. More than in the past, today, education is a lifelong process where the individual acquires skills and competences in formal and non-formal learning setting throughout the entire life-span. Most empirical research on education is still based on cross-sectional studies and does not analyse education as a highly time dependent, step wise, and cumulative process.
Continue education means education resulting from integration of formal, non-formal, and informal education so as to create ability for continuous lifelong development of quality of life. Learning is therefore, part of life which takes place at all time in all place. It is a continuous lifelong process, going on from birth to the end of our life, beginning with learning from families, communities, schools, religious institutions, workplaces, etc.
All experience is not educative. Experience as in the traditional schools, can be mis-educative. They are static, don’t contribute growth, or don’t lead students to understand or appreciate latter experience. The primary justification of progressive schools is that, by providing better experience, they provide students with better preparation. For lifetime appreciate, independence and development. However, progressive education, when it is done right will be to the betterment of the student involved.
Business writer Tom Peter once said, “A career is a portfolio of projects that teach you new skill, gain you new expertise, develop new capabilities, grow your colleague set, and constantly reinvest you as a brand, from the foregoing, his is applicable to those who are constantly learning, as there say learning only stops in the grave, as long as one is alive and still breathing learning is a lifelong process that must continue, on the other hand it is very pertinent to state that anybody who is alive and stops learning or better still discontinue with education is good as dead, this is because as long as you are alive and don’t read, study, research that person is just leaving and not alive. Imagine our today networked age, where companies and jobs rise and fall in a matter of months. That thing you do? There’s now an app for that, for free. Or there will be soon. That job title of yours could change next week.
Reasons for continued education during ones entire life
They are some reasons why one should continue to acquire education as long as one lives on earth, the follow will deal with the reasons.
ü Passion and satisfaction: it is very possible for one to be at home and still be learning and working too at the same time, in order to function, pursuing passion and interest outside of work (where you might have already done a lot of learning, or feel saturated) is important. When your passion for education is on the increase it simply means that you will continue to get educated as long as you live.

Someone who continues to leverage on improving and acquiring more and more educational will help the individual involved to get better employment from blue chip companies in and around the world. Even some of this companies look for people who are willing to go further with their education to better improve the work place and the company in general.

Does education ever stop or it continues during the entire life span of one’s life time, to state the obvious, education is a continuum thing, it has no end basically, but it only has an end when one is not existing any more on earth, as it is often said the day a man stops reading that day he dies. From my findings I did not come across any statement or article that states the reveres. From my view point I can categorically say with no doubt in my mind that education is a continuum as long as one live.
